Dustin Sigurdson

Dustin is the co-founder of BrokerDev. He's a forward deployed engineer with a background that spans software development, operations management, technical sales, and academic research - including a published paper on plant micropropagation from his undergraduate work at the University of Waterloo.

Before BrokerDev, Dustin spent years building enterprise software for regulated industries, earning recognition from clients for his ability to navigate complex projects and elevate operations to enterprise scale. He also co-founded and operated a climbing gym that was successfully acquired in 2024.

At BrokerDev, Dustin brings the rare combination of hands-on engineering skill and operational thinking. He understands what it takes to ship reliable software and what it means to run a business that depends on it.
