Eric Sigurdson

Eric is the co-founder of BrokerDev. He's a software engineer with a background in shipping production systems across distributed infrastructure, API integrations, and regulated environments - including medical device manufacturing where artifact traceability and correctness of change are legally required.

Before going full-time on BrokerDev, Eric spent years building enterprise data integrations between systems like Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, and internal platforms - owning the full interface contracts, data fidelity, and operational reliability of cross-system data flows. He also has a background in technical sales and full customer lifecycle ownership, which gives him a perspective that's as much about solving real business problems as writing clean code.

He started BrokerDev because he kept seeing the same pattern: brokerages stuck on closed systems with no way to integrate, automate, or build on top of their own data. He believes the insurance industry deserves the same open, composable tooling that every other industry takes for granted.
